DAHL Brothers Canada launches RF Pathways WMS
Mississauga, Ontario - Dahl Brothers Canada successfully launched RF Pathways WMS v 4.270.1 in their distribution center January 15, 2007.
"Our operation was an inefficient paper based, host driven order system.” states Claude Nadeau, Shipping and Transportation Supervisor. “The discrepancies between the host, Visual Manufacturing, to the inventory were constantly impacting our efficiency from the raw material receipts, production work orders, sales and most often, the warehouse. A decision was made to automate and interface with our host system. After an initial attempt by an alternative vendor proved fruitless after almost a full year, the decision was made to cancel that contract. AAI was called and immediately they agreed to come on board and work with us. They took the time to understand what we did, how we did it, and how we envisioned doing it. They also made recommendations to change processes based on what they saw. “They said to us, ‘How do you want it to work? What do you want to see?’ What we got was something that we envisioned, backed by the supplier’s advice and support, and not just something that they wanted to sell to us. That kind of promise fulfillment makes a huge contribution toward how well a system will work.”
