Dare Foods launches fourth DC using Automation Associates' RF Pathways WMS
Calgary, ALBERTA - Dare Foods, a Canadian owned producer of quality food products, announced the fourth successful DC installation of RF Pathways WMS by Automation Associates. The launch was made official today by Colleen Cox, Dare's Distribution Manager, after the system has been operating the facility for over the past month.
"With our past successes using RF Pathways, it was an extremely easy decision for Dare of who our provider was going to be. We have been running with this software at our DC's in Kitchener, Montreal and Spartanburg, SC for over 4 years. Our Calgary installation is the result of amalgamating multiple, smaller regional facilities."
An added layer of complexity was introduced through the operations of the DC being contracted to the world class logistics provider Schenker Stinnes. Schenker is one of the leading international providers of integrated logistics services, with a network of 1,000 locations worldwide.
The Dare RF Pathways version includes the WMS foundation, an integration layer to SAP v 4.7, the desktop GUI-based single point access and control module and a reporting tool.
