The Shandex Group launches RF Pathways WMS in their distribution centre in Pickering, Ontario
The Shandex Group recently implemented RF Pathways WMS v4.280 to handle their growing number of 3PL customers and significant growth in their own distribution of private label products. RF Pathways WMS was chosen due to the ease of installation, simplified terminal processes, superior functionality and 3PL billing module. The processing via radio frequency terminals enhanced their inventory controls and service levels for their customers immediately. The successful launch occurred in April 2009.
Since implementation, Shandex has:
- Increased sales
- Added 3PL customers
- Streamlined and virtually eliminated manual month end processes
- Increased operator throughput
- Reduced shipping errors
- The increase of the business has brought about the opportunity of expansion to additional facilities planned in the near future
